How does FIFA Collect work?

FIFA Collect offers digital collectibles and special Right to Buy (RTB) items that may grant purchase opportunities for match tickets. You can join drops, collect moments, trade on the marketplace, and complete challenges that may reward RTBs for specific matches or rounds.

What is FIFA Collect?

FIFA Collect is the official FIFA platform for digital collectibles and Right to Buy (RTB) access. RTB may grant a purchase opportunity for World Cup tickets at FIFA-set prices during official windows.

Is RTB worth it for World Cup tickets?

For high-demand matches (e.g., host nation games, marquee knockouts, iconic venues like Azteca), community consensus is that RTB can be the most practical path to secure tickets. Lower-demand group matches are often attainable via general sales without RTB.

How does World Cup Right to Buy (RTB) work?

An RTB typically grants a purchase opportunity for a specified number of tickets for a given match or round, at FIFA-set prices (not resale). Availability and quantities vary by match/round and are announced by FIFA. Use our Marketplace to research RTB availability and pricing trends.

How hard is it to get World Cup tickets in the lottery?

Historically, top matches are hard to win in the lottery; neutral or lower-profile group matches tend to be attainable. If you’re flexible on teams and venue, you’ll likely find options without an RTB. If you’re targeting specific teams/venues (e.g., USA, Azteca), expect much higher demand.

How many tickets does an RTB provide?

Most RTBs for group-stage matches provide up to two tickets per RTB. Some later rounds may provide only one ticket per RTB. Always check the RTB’s details for the stated quantity.

Do RTB holders get notified when tickets are available?

FIFA typically announces buying windows and notifies eligible holders. We recommend monitoring official FIFA communications and our updates. You can also set alerts in our app where available.

Should I burn my RTB NFT now?

No. Do not burn the RTB yet. FIFA Collect will email you closer to the tournament with instructions on when to burn it and how to purchase tickets. Follow the official email guidance when it’s time.

Are third-party marketplace “early tickets” real?

Be cautious. Before FIFA opens official sales, posts claiming guaranteed tickets are often inaccurate or refer to hospitality products. General public tickets are not available until FIFA opens the window.

Which matches are likely to be “good” or high-demand?

Host nation matches (USA, Mexico, Canada), marquee teams, and late-stage knockouts draw the most demand. Some community picks highlight early rounds at iconic venues (e.g., Azteca) or group deciders, but final demand depends on actual team assignments.

Where can I track drops, RTBs, and prices?

Use our Drops and Marketplace pages for live analytics, last sold history, and availability.

How can I see what’s left on a FIFA Collect drop?

Open Drops, select the drop, and check remaining supply, mint pace, and price. We compute real-time supply left where available.

How can I get FIFA World Cup tickets?

There are two main paths: (1) the general FIFA ticket sales/lottery windows and (2) holding an eligible Right to Buy (RTB) on FIFA Collect for a specific match or round, which may grant a purchase window at face value.

Burning (what it means)

Burning is the on-chain action that destroys an NFT to redeem its benefit. For RTB, FIFA will notify you when it’s time. Do not burn early—wait for official instructions so your burn maps to a valid ticket purchase window.

How do I deposit?

Two options: (1) send USDC from an exchange directly to your FIFA Collect wallet address (easier), or (2) use an EVM wallet like MetaMask on Avalanche.

Method 1 — Exchange → FIFA Collect wallet (easier)

  1. Buy USDC on your exchange (e.g., Coinbase, Binance, Kraken). Bank buys may have a ~5 day hold; card buys are usually instant.
  2. In FIFA Collect, open your Profile → My Profile and copy your wallet address.
  3. On the exchange, choose Send/Withdraw, paste your FIFA Collect address, and select the Avalanche network.
  4. Send a small test (e.g., $1–2) first. If it arrives, send the full amount.
  5. Funds should appear in your FIFA Collect Wallet within minutes.

Method 2 — MetaMask (EVM wallet)

  1. Install MetaMask and switch the network to Avalanche.
  2. Fund ~$5 AVAX to cover gas (buy in MetaMask or receive from an exchange).
  3. Send USDC to the same MetaMask address on Avalanche.
  4. On FIFA Collect, choose Add Balance/Connect and link MetaMask to complete purchases.
Critical: always select the Avalanche network for deposits and withdrawals. Using the wrong network may result in loss of funds. Consider a small test transaction first.

  1. In your exchange, get your Receive/Deposit address for USDC on Avalanche.
  2. In FIFA Collect → My Wallet, choose Cash out/Withdraw.
  3. Paste the exchange address and ensure the Avalanche network is selected.
  4. Send a small test first, then the full amount.
  5. Funds should show on your exchange within minutes once confirmed.
